Dear fellow students and teachers, Alex was an amazing person she was smart, athletic, perfect in all ways I found these poems in her journal after she left us and after I read all of them they seemed to be written as a story so if you could read them and understand how she went from that to where she was at before she left us it would be greatly appreciated. From, Daniel (Who always loved her)
P.S there are no attachments, nothing other than poems because I think this needs to be simple.
Who are you really?
The water ripples
See what others see in me
I see a monster
Mirror
That smile means nothing
Its sharp curves give me chills
I know what that means
Created from Consumption
I don't even know who you are
I look and see a monster created from consumption
I want this, I want that, I want a car
I didn't even care about you it was all money
Simple
I wrote this down on blank paper
Using a quill drenched in ink
Hoping it would make it easier to think
But all it did was make this look simple
The Old and The New
You are old but you could be new
You could be a new friend but have an old rusty T.V
You could be an old friend because you have a new T.V
But you could be new if you don't act like the old you
Gone
I seep in the tub
I wash away all my fears
I dive in head first
Names
I love when people stare and think they know who I am
I love when people think its all about black eye liner and death wishes
If only they knew what it feels like to be more scared of living than death
So they give us Insulting names like Goth Emo Stoner
When they don't know the story
They don't know what our real names are
They don't care about who we are
They just want to have names
Perfect- So they can look like a Barbie?
Athletic- So they can wear Lululemon short shorts?
Smart- So they can act dumb for the guys?
I don't understand these names
It seems like the meanings have been changed and warped
Like its opposite day every day
So don't blame us when we do things to try and get the world straight again
Blame yourselves for wanting to change your name
